Red Flag Couples - your relationship has been red-flagged by you, your mate, friends, or family members. If you’re not sure if your issues are a real problem or uncomfortable-but-normal rough patches, ask them, or call one of us.
7th Year Itchers – you’ve been married long enough that you don’t feel much romantic euphoria anymore. For that matter, it’s mostly… well, boring. The fading of euphoric romance is normal, but sliding into boredom is a sign your passion is at risk of being smothered by passivity.
Misery Sliders - when you let relationship gravity win, your marriage can slide incrementally into misery, like a slow-moving glacier.
Committed Growers - you don’t have to be in trouble or trending towards it to long to Defy Gravity. You can learn how to fly in love, really.
Formerly director of a large church counseling center and dean of graduate training for Pathways Core Training, currently lead facilitator for P3. Co-facilitator of Relationship Rich, among the most powerful and positive experience-based couples’ training ever offered.
“I’ve worked with more than 4000 couples in the 30 years I’ve been a professional employed in the ministry, as a university instructor, and as a therapist. As much as that experience has informed my coaching, the most important credential I value is the love of my wife, which I’ve nurtured, betrayed, and recovered over the course of 35 years together.”
“From my perspective, anyone who purports to be a marriage expert ought to be required to carry a signed affidavit from their mate, detailing which aspects of marriage about which the expert is actually qualified to offer advice, and which areas should be clearly labeled as possesses theoretical knowledge only. I’ve got my signed note from my wife. There’s a couple of things on it.”
